Credit Suisse Asset Management Income Fund, Inc. (the Fund) continues to seek current income through investment primarily in debt securities. The Fund was established on February 11, 1987 and until now serves as a diversified closed-end investment company. It will invest at least 75% of its total assets in fixed-income securities, such as bonds, debentures and preferred stock.
Most of the Fund’s portfolio is primarily invested in the United States high-yield corporate debt, with some exposure to sovereign or corporate debt of developing countries. In fact, it may invest up to 10% of its total assets in securities, which are not readily marketable like those that are limited as to disposition under securities law (restricted securities).
It may also invest in securities of foreign countries and governments. The Fund invests in different industries like aerospace/defense, apparel/textiles, building materials, chemicals, electronics, forestry and paper, health services, media (cable), packaging, restaurants and software/services.
Furthermore, Credit Suisse Asset Management, LLC (Credit Suisse) is the Fund’s investment advisor. It is an affiliate of Credit Suisse which serves as the sub-investment advisor of the Fund.

- Seek current income which is consistent with capital preservation through investing in fixed-income securities.
- The Fund is expected to at least invest 75% of its total assets under normal circumstances in fixed-income securities, such as bonds, debentures, and preferred stock.
- Majority of the Fund’s portfolio invested in U.S. high yield corporate debt, with some exposure to sovereign or corporate debt of developing nations.
